    What are Iowa's Food Safety Regulations?

    The State of Iowa requires food establishments to have at least one Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) per IAC § 31.1(2).

    To become a Certified Food Protection Manager, you must successfully complete an ANAB-CFP approved examination from an accredited ANAB provider such as FMC® Food Managers Certification by EduClasses®.

    Always be sure to check with your local health department for any additional training and certification requirements.
